Apps

I've created apps for fun and a way to continue to learn. Some of these apps actually get published in the App Store or online! Others don't make it out of testing on my own devices and the GitHub repo.

Dad Jokes

This was built for my daughter. She just can't get enough of my eyeball inducing jokes so we put together a fun little app so that she could have all her friends share in the fun!

Some Sort of History

A fun way to interact with a group of people. Someone sets the sort order (i.e. historical events, or anything for that matter) and can share out a code or link to have others join and see if they can sort the items into the correct order! This was an idea from my son for one of his teachers, and a fun project to work together on as he learns new skills in product and engineering.

Color Picker

A little web app to help build out proper color combinations for projects. As someone who is a bit color-challenged, this was a way to help me identify good color combinations.

Mind Maps

I really enjoy building out mind maps to help me brainstorm and think through something in a structured way. This little web app was one of the ones where I used Claude to help me build quickly. Coding with AI has come a really long way and this was a fun project to try it out.

The Runner

This is a fun, web based, game designed and developed with Claude. I had never created a game before so this was a fun project to explore and learn alot about what goes into game development. I developed the idea and structure for the game, acquired some 16-bit game sprites, music & sounds for a side scroller runner and used Claude to bring it all to life. My kids 'let me' keep the high score. I hope to continue to build upon this adding new power ups and levels.

Interest Calculator

A way to see over time how much you actually pay for something when taking out a loan. I wanted a nice visual way to see how much money went to the bank and how much went to the actual thing you were buying!

Soundscapes

This was built to help provide soothing sounds to gain focus or block out other sounds to more easily relax. It was a great way to learn how to incorporate audio into an app. This one never made it to release. Maybe one day, but it's too buggy and requires some focused time to fix.

Personal Agent Operating System

Designed an agent system to learn how to incorporate agents and AI into various projects and work. Over 40+ skills, 10+ reviewer sub-agents, and a couple of MCPs. It's been a great experience learning what works, what doesn't quite work yet, and where I like to spend my time.
